Phantoms Recall Defenseman Cullen Eddy

The Adirondack Phantoms announced today that they have recalled defenseman Cullen Eddy from the Greenville (SC) Road Warriors of the ECHL. Eddy will be available for the December 31 game against the Springfield Falcons.
Eddy appeared in four games with the Phantoms from November 17 through November 24 recording one assist. The Mercyhust College product has played in 16 games with Greenville this year with one goal and three assists. This includes 7 games since his most recent return to Greenville on November 25. He scored his first professional goal on October 29 in a game against South Carolina. His first call-up to the Phantoms on November 17 was a day before his 22nd birthday. The 6'0" righty shooter is from Hidden Valley, PA.
This is Eddy's third call to the Phantoms although the first two happened a couple days from each other while Adirondack was on the road in Charlotte. Eddy also played with the Phantoms during the preseason and scored a goal in the October 3rd exhibition game at Syracuse.
Friday afternoon is the traditional New Year's Eve game with a 3:00 start time presented by Nemer Ford. All of the Phantoms players will be appearing in Heritage Hall after the game to meet with the fans, sign autographs and take pictures.
Saturday night at 7:00 is the first game of 2011 as the Phantoms renew their Time Warner Cable Cup rivalry with the Albany Devils.
