
Forward Caleb Herbert Recalled to the Hershey Bears

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, celebrating 22 seasons of hockey in the Lowcountry, announced today that forward Caleb Herbert has been recalled to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Herbert, 23, scored four goals and an assist for five points in four games with the Stingrays this season including his first professional hat trick on Saturday, November 1 against Greenville. The Bloomington, Minnesota, native appeared in four games with the Bears earlier this season picking up two assists.
Skating in his first full professional season, Herbert completed a three-year collegiate career at the University of Minnesota - Duluth totaling 89 points (32 goals, 57 assists) in 112 contests. Following his senior season, he appeared in seven games with the Bears and scored a goal and an assist in his first professional game. He was selected by the Capitals in the fifth round (142nd overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
The Stingrays continue a five-game homestand on Friday, November 7 at 7:05 against the Florida Everblades at the North Charleston Coliseum.
