Lafranchise Returns to K-Wings

KALAMAZOO- The Kalamazoo Wings' National Hockey League affiliate, the Vancouver Canucks swapped defensemen with the team on Wednesday. Blue-liner Kane Lafranchise will return to Kalamazoo, while John Negrin heads to the Canucks American Hockey affiliate, the Utica Comets.

Lafranchise, who last saw action for Kalamazoo during the team's opening weekend, has posted two assists in two games with the K-Wings.

With being reassigned to the Comets, Negrin becomes the third member of the K-Wings this season to either be called-up or loaned to an AHL team.

Lafranchise is slated to make his home debut this weekend when the K-Wings host the Elmira Jackals at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, November 7th.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games are currently on sale at Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.

Fans that plan on attending multiple games can avoid service fees plus enjoy a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 12, 24 or 36-game flexi-plan.
