Former RiverHawk Is Player of the Week in AAA

LOVES PARK, Ill. - Former Rockford RiverHawk Jim Paduch is the Pitcher of the Week in the Class AAA International League.

Paduch, who pitches for the Durham Bulls, was 2-0 with an 0.69 ERA in the week of June 18-24. He struck out nine, walked five and allowed nine hits over 13 innings in two starts with the Tampa Bay Rays' top affiiate. Paduch is 4-5 with a 4.18 ERA in 12 starts this season.

Paduch, a former Concordia University Chicago pitcher, was a RiverHawk in 2008.
