Slammers Return Home Wednesday for Three Games

(Joliet, IL) - The Joliet Slammers have lots of fun packed into three games starting Wednesday at Silver Cross Field. All three games begin at 7:05 p.m.

Students can bring a valid photo I.D. to the Box Office and receive half off their purchase of a reserved seat on Wednesday and Thursday.

Fans can redeem their tickets all season for $10 off their bill at Tilted Kilt Joliet .

Wednesday is Wilderness Wednesday at the yard. The Slammers are celebrating the great outdoors all night long. Also, if the Slammers win, all fans in attendance win a free ticket to the next Wednesday home game. Fans interested in the Slammers' special "Sweet Suite" Deal can call 815-722-2287. After the game, all kids get to run the bases!

Thursday is Bill Manner Bobblehead Night. The first 1500 fans through the gates receive a bobblehead in the likeness of Joliet's own Bill Manner. Bill has been an assistant clubhouse manager at Silver Cross Field for years and is well known throughout the area for his contributions to Joliet sports. It's also a Thirsty Thursday at the yard. Fans can purchase $2 draft beers. After the game, all kids get to run the bases!

Friday is the Slammers' salute to Classic Rock. After the game fans will enjoy the most spectacular postgame fireworks show in the region.
