
Former Orlando City Captain Nani to Return to Exploria Stadium for the Beautiful Game

ORLANDO, Fla. - Former Orlando City captain and forward Nani is set to return to Exploria Stadium on Friday, June 23 to take part in The Beautiful Game, it was announced today.
"For me it is an honor to be back in Orlando and be with the fans one more time," said Nani. "I can't wait to see my friends from the Club, The Wall and all Orlando City supporters again. I'm thankful for this opportunity to play one more time with Roberto Carlos, Ronaldinho and so many legends."
Nani started 64 matches in 77 appearances across all competitions for Orlando City. Signing ahead of the 2019 season, the Portuguese winger scored 28 goals and provided 23 assists in his three seasons with the Lions.
The match will feature a star-studded lineup of players from around the world, coming together to celebrate the diversity, connection and passion that centers around the global love for soccer. Nani joins Brazilian legends Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos, as well as Carlos "El Pibe" Valderrama, Javier Mascherano, Rivaldo and more as players confirmed for the match.
Fans can purchase tickets to the match here, with more information including additions to the roster announced at a later date. In addition to the action-packed match, the event will also feature pre-game and halftime entertainment.
