
Real Salt Lake Welcomes LA Galaxy to Utah Seeking Home Momentum

SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake (4-6-4, 16 pts., 11th West) continues a fifth consecutive three-game week Wednesday at home, hosting Major League Soccer's LA Galaxy (2-9-3, 9 pts, 14th West) in one of several midweek MLS Matchday 16 contests. RSL owns a 10W-5L-8T all-time home mark against the Galaxy, outscoring the original LA side 44-31 in 18 previous seasons, including an active four-game unbeaten run that has seen RSL win three and draw one since the last Galaxy win in Sandy in 2019.

RSL returns home for the first time in two weeks after earning two wins and a draw at Colorado and Minnesota prior to Memorial Day, as last Wednesday's 1-0 road win against Rocky Mountain Cup rival Colorado earned RSL hosting rights for the upcoming 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinal on June 7 agaist the Galaxy.
