
Flying Squirrels Back in Richmond for Seven-Game Homestand Starting Thursday

NNVILLE - The Flying Squirrels head back to Richmond this Thursday to open a seven-game homestand, highlighted by three In-Your-Face Fireworks shows, the Charlie Culberson Bobblehair giveaway, Nickelodeon Day featuring PAW Patrol and much more in Funnville.
Tickets are available online at SquirrelsBaseball.com/Tickets, by phone at 804-359-NN (3866) or in person at the Flying Squirrels offices.
The homestand begins with a four-game series against the Akron RubberDucks, Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, from Thursday through Sunday. After an off day on Monday, the Flying Squirrels welcome the Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, for three games beginning Tuesday.

Joe T Emoji Towel Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans 15 & older receive a rally-sized version of the towel often seen draped on the shoulder of the Flying Squirrels' venerable clubhouse manager, Joe T.

Ardillas Voladoras Wrestling Cape Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans 14 & younger receive a lucha libre wrestling cape featuring the Flying Squirrels' new Copa de la Diversión identity presented by Richmond Times-Dispatch
Postgame Kids Run the Bases: Kids 14 & younger can run the bases following Friday and Sunday home games (except May 19) in Funnville presented by Richmond Family Magazine. Kids wanting to run the bases are asked the line up at the Section 107-108 field gate near the first base dugout at the conclusion of the game.
Friday Happy Hour: Enjoy happy hour drink specials from 6-8 p.m. each Friday home game in Funnville. Specials include $2 12-ounce domestic beers at all concession stands, Beer Express carts and The Thirsty Acorn as well as $2 fountain sodas at the Pepsi Fountain (located on main concourse, first base side).

Nickelodeon Day featuring PAW Patrol: No need to yelp for help because Chase from Nickelodeon's PAW Patrol will be patrolling The Diamond posing for photos and meet-and-greets on the Funnville Fan Zone Main Stage throughout the game.
Paw Patrol Jersey Auction: Bid on game-worn jerseys featuring characters from Nickelodeon's PAW Patrol. Proceeds from the jersey auction benefit Bike for Blue and the MDA Summer Camp.
First Responders Day: Join the Flying Squirrels in honoring local law enforcement, firefighters and EMS who keep our communities safe. On the way into Funnville, stop by the Richmond Ambulance Authority's Bike Safety Rodeo course in the Red Lot located between The Diamond and Arthur Ashe Center.
Pregame Catch with a Cop: Every Sunday in Funnville, families are invited down to the field to play catch in the outfield from 12:15-12:35 PM presented by Nesquik. Fans can enter the field through the Section 107-108 field gate near the first base dugout. Have a catch with representatives of the Richmond City Sheriff's Office as part of the First Responders Day activities.
6th Annual Guns & Hoses Charity Softball Game: Stay after the game and cheer on the Richmond Police and Richmond Fire departments in the 6th annual Guns & Hoses Charity Softball Game to benefit Bike for Blue and the MDA Summer Camp.

Pregame Warning Track Stroll: Fans are invited down to the field to stroll the warning track from 5:45-6:05 PM while enjoying the music of Frank Sinatra.
