Published on April 27, 2010 under South Atlantic League (SAL1)
Greenville Drive News Release
With rain showers hitting the Upstate region, the tarp has been placed on the playing surface at Fluor Field.
The inclement weather is predicted to move through the area quickly, and once it is clear the tarp will be removed and preparation for tonight's game will begin.
First pitch is still set for 7:05 PM, as the Drive look to complete a four-game sweep of the visiting Lexington Legends.
Gates will open at their regularly scheduled time of 6 PM.
Tonight is also "BI-LO Tasty Tuesday," in which all kids 12 and under will receive a voucher for a complimentary hot dog, bag of Lay's Chips, and a 12 ounce Pepsi product.
Please stay tuned for further weather updates.
