Five-Run Sixth Inning Backs Somerset's Fourth Straight Win

The Somerset Patriots defeated the Harrisburg Senators by a score of 7-5 at FNB Field in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Thursday night.

The Patriots have won each of the first three games of their series in Harrisburg, extending a new season-high four-game win streak. The win also moves Somerset to a season-high four games over .500.

Somerset is now 5-1 in six games vs. Harrisburg this season.

RHP Will Warren (4.2 IP, 3 R, 1 ER, 5 H, 2 BB, 8 K) started for the Patriots and did not factor into a decision.

Warren matched his season-high mark of eight strikeouts for the third time this season out of four starts.

RHP Steven Jennings (2.2 IP, 1 ER, 1 H, 1 BB, 1 K) earned his first win of the season for Somerset, pitching through the end of the seventh inning.

RHP Indigo Diaz (1.2 IP, 0 R, 2 H, BB, K) earned his first save as a member of the Yankees organization, relieving Jennings and earning the final five outs of the game.

RF Brandon Lockridge (2-for-4, RBI, 2 R, 2B, SB) scored a game-high two runs, while adding two diving catches in right field, including one that ended a four-run fifth inning with the bases loaded for Harrisburg.

DH Eric Wagaman (3-for-4, RBI, R, 2 2B, SB) accomplished his first three-hit game of the season, becoming the fifth Patriot this season to amass a three-hit game.

In the sixth inning, Wagaman stole his fifth base of the season, setting a new career-high mark for a single season. Entering this season, Wagaman had 11 career stolen bases in 358 career games over five years.

2B Eduardo Torrealba (2-for-3, 3 RBI) led the way for Somerset with 3 RBIs in three separate plate appearances. After having started the season 0-for-18 over his first seven games, Torrealba broke out for his first two hits of the season.
