Manchester, NH - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays Double-A affiliate), plated at least eight runs for the fifth-consecutive game, but took a 20-8 loss to the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants) on Thursday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. It was the most runs scored by a Fisher Cats opponent in the team's 15-year history.

The loss snaps a season-high seven game-winning streak, one shy of matching the Fisher Cats franchise record.

Max Pentecost led New Hampshire's offense with three hits, including a two-run double to start the scoring in the first inning. Santiago Espinal hit a two-run triple and Forrest Wall added an RBI single to give the Fisher Cats an early 5-0 lead.

From there, Richmond would outscore New Hampshire 20-3, including four runs in the second, three in the fourth, three in the third, one in the seventh, one in the eighth, and eight in the ninth.

Dylan Davis led Richmond with a 4-for-5 night, hitting three doubles and driving in a run. The Fisher Cats committed three errors, leading to five unearned runs. New Hampshire also forced in three runs with bases loaded walks, and another with a bases-loaded hit by pitch.

The Fisher Cats settled for a 2-1 series win over Richmond, and welcome in the Erie SeaWolves (Detroit Tigers) for a three-game series from Friday - Sunday at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. Friday is Comic-Con Night, featuring Super Heroes from Double Midnight Comics, and a T-Shirt Giveaway from Consolidated Communications.
