July 25, 2019 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
D.C. United News Release
WASHINGTON - Officials have announced Unite the District Fest at Audi Field on October 4 and 5; a first-of-its-kind two-day festival and the latest addition to Audi Field's event calendar.
Unite the District Fest combines the cuisine, arts, and vibrant culture of the District to give guests an unforgettable experience at Audi Field, the newest multi use stadium in the District and home of D.C. United. Guests will be able to enjoy tastings from 20+ restaurants and 10+ breweries, with live music from local bands like Black Alley and White Ford Bronco. Experiences available will include a 21+ party, biergarten, art gallery and interactive installations, cooking competitions and more.
"Our goal for Audi Field is to help unify and celebrate the District by hosting a variety of special events outside of our regular MLS schedule," Harry Hardy, VP of Events and Marketing, said. "Being known as a cultural hub in D.C.'s fastest growing area is important to us and Unite the District Fest is the perfect opportunity to showcase the best restaurants, music acts, and artists together in one place."
The first day of Unite the District Fest will take place on Friday, Oct. 4, starting at 7 PM ET. The first day will be limited to guests who are aged 21 and older with tickets available for $35. The ticket will be all-inclusive for food and drink with local DC band, Black Alley, performing from 7-8:30 PM.
Unite the District Fest will continue the next day on Saturday, Oct. 5 with guests of all ages welcome to enjoy local and international cuisines along with various activations from vendors in the DMV. Gates will open at 2 PM with White Ford Bronco playing from 2:30-4 PM. Tickets for guests aged 3-17 will be available for $20 (food and activities included), while the all-inclusive package will be available for $35 (food, drinks, and activities included).
Early restaurant commitments include award winning Navy Yard favorites Chloe, Bluejacket and the Salt Line in addition to Think Food Group's Beefsteak and more.
