Fightins and RubberDucks to Resume Thursday

(Reading, PA) - The Reading Fightin Phils and Akron RubberDucks will resume Wednesday night's suspended game at 5:30 p.m., and will play the regularly-scheduled contest at 7:10 p..

The contest will resume at 5:30 p.m. with the teams tied at one in the top of the eighth inning. Since the game was part of Wednesday's doubleheader, the inning will start with a runner at second for Akron in accordance with the extra-innings rule.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. on Thursday, and the seating bowel will open at 5:20 p.m. Happy Hour will take place from 5-6 p.m. with $1 off beer, presented by Rusty Rail Brewing Company, and a pregame concert will take place at 5 p.m. thanks to Ron Procopio Guitars.

Thursday also features Ladies Night with prize tables thanks to Smirnoff vodka, and a $2,000 Diamond Dig presented by Douglas Designs. The evening concludes with post-game fireworks, presented by UGI Utilities.
