Reading Baseball Hall of Famer and Philadelphia Phillies great Darren Daulton will be on hand for a free autograph session at the Reading Fightin Phils' June 8th home game thanks to Yuengling.

Daulton will be returning to Reading to thank fans for their support during his battle with glioblastoma last summer. The 1983 alumni will address the fans in the pre-game and participate in a free autograph session throughout the game.

Sunday, June 8th is also the Fightins' Early Fathers' Day featuring a Fightins Neck Tie giveaway to the first 2,000 men 15 & over thanks to Refreshing Mountain Camp. Kids will be able to intro dad on the field during the pre-game thanks to Rock Hits Y102. All fans will also be able to play catch on the field with their fathers post-game. It's also Prostate Awareness Day thanks to St. Joseph Medical Center.

Daulton, 52, played with Reading in 1983 as part of what many call the best team in franchise history. He hit .262 with 19 home runs and 83 RBIs in 113 games to help propel the R-Phils to the best record in the Eastern League (96-44).

A three-time All-Star, Daulton played 14 of his 15 seasons with the Phillies where he won a Silver Slugger Award in 1992 and was the catcher on the infamous 1993 National League Champions. He then went on to win a World Series ring in 1997 with the Florida Marlins before retiring at the conclusion of the season.

Following his playing career, Daulton hosted his own sports talk radio show "Talking Baseball with Dutch" on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia.
