The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced a roster move prior to Thursday morning's ballgame against the Reading Fightin Phils.
LHP Eric Wooten has been transferred to the Thunder roster from High-A Tampa. In 10 games (9 GS), Wooten was 2-2 with a 3.25 ERA (18 ER in 52.2 IP) with 35 K and a .295 BAA (61-for-207). He has gone 6.0+ IP in 5 of 9 starts but his first appearance is expected to be out of the bullpen with the Thunder.
Trenton's roster is at 24 players-- one short of the Eastern League maximum of 25 active players.
