FC Dallas Faces Defending Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Champs Sporting KC in USOC Round of 16

(Frisco, TX) - FC Dallas will play Sporting Kansas City in the Round of 16 in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at 8PM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, KS. This Midwest Region matchup is a rematch of the 2017 quarterfinal USOC meeting between the two clubs. Sporting KC beat FC Dallas 3-0 en route to winning the 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup title.
FC Dallas, the 2016 U.S. Open Cup champions, advanced to the Round of 16 in the 2018 competition with a 1-0 victory over San Antonio FC on Wednesday, June 6 at Toyota Field in San Antonio.
