Farynuk Reassigned To Stockton Thunder

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they have reassigned defenseman Brad Farynuk to their ECHL affiliate, the Stockton Thunder and also have released blueliner Curtiss Patrick from his Professional Tryout Agreement.

This was Farynuk's third recall of the season and the Enderby, British Columbia native has played in three games for Springfield this season not registering a point. In 24 games with the Thunder this season, the Stockton captain has two goals and 10 assists for 12 points and was named to participate in the 2008 Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game, which will be played in Stockton this season.

Patrick has played in 12 games for the Wheeling Nailers this season collecting one goal and three assists for four points and 57 penalty minutes. Patrick is in his fourth full season of professional hockey and he has played in 10 career AHL games collecting two assists for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins last season. In 155 career ECHL contests, Patrick has totaled seven goals and 15 assists for 22 points and 456 career penalty minutes.

The Falcons return to action this weekend for road games in Lowell, Bridgeport and Providence. The Falcons are back at home on Friday, January 18 when they host the Hartford Wolf Pack.
