PORTLAND, OR - Shane Farkas turned aside all 22-shots he faced, as the Portland Winterhawks shutout the Prince George Cougars 3-0 on Saturday night, at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Jake Gricius scored the game-winning goal late in the first period, and Ryan Hughes and Jaydon Dureau added goals in the second period. Taylor Gauthier stopped 36-shots in a losing cause.

ROAD WOES: Saturday was the Cougars fourth-straight road loss. In their last four road games, the Cougars have been shut out twice. Their last road win was November 11th against the Vancouver Giants. The Cougars are now 4-7-1-1 away from the CN Centre. Saturday was the third time this season the Cougars have been shut out.
