Chiefs Defeat ICE in OT

Spokane, WA - Eli Zummack scored on a breakaway at the 2:35 mark of overtime to give the Spokane Chiefs a 4-3 victory over the Kootenay ICE at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday.

The ICE received goals from Jaeger White, Peyton Krebs and Brad Ginnell. Krebs led the way with three points, while White and Ginnell recorded two. Nolan Orzeck and Jonathan Smart registered assists. Goaltender Jesse Makaj stopped 28-of-32 shots he faced.

The Chiefs got goals from Bobby Russell, Luc Smith, Cordel Larson and the aforementioned Zummack. Chiefs goaltender Dawson Weatherill blocked 25-of-28 shots.
