Fankhouser to the Chicago Wolves

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that goaltender Scott Fankhouser has been recalled to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Scott has a record of 5-4-2 on the season with the Storm. The former National Hockey League goaltender has posted a 2.69 goals against average, and a .896 save percentage this season. Fankhouser collected a shutout in his first game with Toledo, which was October 22nd against Wheeling. The last time Scott played in an AHL game was in during the 2001-02 season when he spent time with the Wolves and the Hershey Bears. Fankhouser has 23 games of NHL experience on his resume when he was with the Atlanta Thrashers. Chicago is home tonight against the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks. On Friday, the Wolves head to Milwaukee, before returning to Chicago Saturday against San Antonio.

The Toledo Storm will be in action Friday night in Peoria. Saturday and Sunday Toledo welcomes in the Reading Royals for two contests. Toledo Hockey...A History of Champions!
