Fresno, CA...The Kelly Cup Playoff bound Fresno Falcons, one of the hottest teams in the ECHL, beat the Idaho Steelheads 6-4 Tuesday night at the Save Mart Center. The Falcons have won five in a row and improve their record to 35-15-8. The Falcons clinched a playoff spot last week and are currently battling for home ice advantage. The Falcons battle long time rival and National Conference foe the Alaska Aces tonight at the Save Mart Center at 7:05. Tonight is Ladies Night. All ladies may purchase select tickets for only $ 7 and enter the drawing to be named one of the ten Army Strong Pushup Challenge Personal Trainers. Ten U.S. Army Soldiers will participate in the Fresno Falcons Army Strong Pushup Challenge on the ice during the First Intermission. Ten lucky ladies will be chosen as personal trainers for the soldiers and serve as the official counters of their pushups. The Falcons also welcome U.S. Army Hero Sgt. Tommy Rieman to Wednesday's Game. Sgt. Rieman will be honored as the Beazer Homes Hometown Hero of the Game. Sgt. Rieman is a decorated combat soldier who now travels around the country giving speeches and promoting America's Army game.
