Falcons To Auction Jerseys

FRESNO, Calif. – The Taylor Cup Champion Fresno Falcons return to the ice tonight looking to avenge their only of the loss of the season when the Bakersfield Condors stroll into Selland Arena. Their 7:30 p.m. showdown with the Condors tonight will be followed by a return visit by the Idaho Steelheads on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.

Immediately following Saturday's game, the team will auction off the commemorative Halloween jerseys that they wore during their 6-4 victory over the San Diego Gulls on Tuesday night. The auction will take place at the El Torito Restaurant on Tulare and R Streets in downtown Fresno. A portion of the proceeds raised will go to Crime Stoppers and the Rick Grimsley Trust Fund.

The first 1,500 fans at tonight's game will receive a free Falcons travel mug courtesy of The Pizza Factory. Saturday's game against the Steelheads will feature mini hockey sticks to the first 1,500 fans compliments of the Institute of Technology. Tickets for this weekend's games are available at the Selland Arena box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.
