Reid Named Performer of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Pee Dee center Matt Reid is the C&T Hockey Products East Coast Hockey League Plus Performer of the Month for October. Reid was even or plus in seven of the Pride's first eight games finishing the month at a league-leading +11.

The 24-year-old Reid has scored a point in seven of the first eight games, and is tied for the league lead with 12 assists while leading the Pride in scoring with 13 points.

In his third professional season, Reid had a pair of assists and was +2 in a 5-2 win over Columbia on October 12 and was +2 with an assist in a 3-0 win over Florida on October 18. He was +3 and had four assists in Pee Dee's 7-2 win over Florida on October 19. He was +1 in a 4-3 loss at Florida on October 25 and +3 with a goal and an assist in a 4-3 win at Florida on October 26. He was +1 with an assist in Thursday's 4-2 win at Greensboro.
