BOISE, Idaho - The Fresno Falcons signed rookie forward Brett Hammond to a contract today in advance of tonight's three-game series finale against the Idaho Steelheads.

Hammond just completed a four-year collegiate career at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he helped lead the Bulldogs to a Frozen Four appearance last season as a junior.
