Falcons Make Historic Visit to Yosemite on Monday

Fresno, CA...The Fresno Falcons professional hockey team, proud members of the ECHL, have announced that several members of the team and mascot Freddie Falcon will be traveling to Yosemite National Park on Monday, January 14th to skate at the historic Curry Village Ice Rink in Yosemite Village. Monday's appearance will mark the first time that any professional hockey team will have skated on Yosemite ice! The Curry Village Ice Rink in Yosemite Village first opened back in the 1920's and is a popular attraction at Yosemite National Park. The Curry Village Ice Rink also provides area recreational skating and hockey opportunities for Yosemite residents.

The Falcons will be appearing at Curry Village from 5-7pm. The players and Freddie Falcon will be putting on hockey demonstrations at 5:15pm and 6:15pm. The players will meet and greet park visitors,Yosemite Village school children, National Park Service Rangers, as well as DNC Parks and Resorts staff. Falcons players will also be available for autographs and photo opportunities. Falcons fans are welcome to attend!
