Falcons Beat Wolf Pack 2-1 In OT

The Springfield Falcons rallied to beat the Hartford Wolf Pack in overtime Friday night by a score of 2-1 at the XL Center in Hartford, CT. Springfield's Rob Hisey scored the game-winner, while Falcons goaltender Devan Dubnyk made 32 saves in the winning effort. The Falcons next play in Syracuse on Saturday night starting at 7:30 pm.

Trailing 1-0 entering the third period, the Falcons started their comeback in the final frame when Ryan O'Marra evened the score with his 10th goal of the year sending the contest to overtime. Just 12-seconds into the extra session, Hisey one-timed a pass from Charles Linglet just inside the Hartford blueline that beat Wolf Pack goaltender Matt Zaba.

After the scoreless first period, Hartford took a 1-0 lead at 7:36 of the second period when Ryan Garlock scored his fourth goal of the year. Falcons goaltender Devan Dubnyk has stopped 27 of 28 shots through 40 minutes.
