Fresno Falcons News Release

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons assigned right winger John Wroblewski to and activated winger Wes Rypien from the seven-day injured reserve list today.

Wroblewski suffered an injury in practice earlier this week, which will cause him to miss the first games of his professional career. Last season the second year pro became the fourth Falcon in team history to play every game of a 72-game regular season.

Rypien re-joins the active roster having recorded zero points and 12 penalty minutes in four games.

The Falcons travel to face the Long Beach Ice Dogs tomorrow at Long Beach Arena before returning home on Saturday, Nov. 20, to host the San Diego Gulls at Save Mart Center at 7 p.m. Tomorrow's game can be heard live on KAAT 103.1 FM, The Mountain Cat, beginning at 7:20 p.m. with the pre-game show.

On Saturday, the first 3,000 fans will receive a Falcons trading card set courtesy of Carl's Jr. Tickets are still available for as low as $8 per seat and may be purchased directly at Save Mart Center's box office and all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 485-TIXS (8497) or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
