Falcons Announce Game Date Change

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that their game originally scheduled for Tuesday, October 30 against the Binghamton Senators will now be played on Tuesday, December 11. Game time will remain 7:00 pm and tickets for the October 30 date will be valid for the rescheduled game on December 11. The Falcons next home game will be Friday, November 2 when they host the Providence Bruins at the MassMutual Center.

"With all of the excitement surrounding the Boston Red Sox and the World Series, we thought as an organization this change made sense," said Falcons president and general manager Bruce Landon. "The Red Sox in the World Series is a big event for all of New England and we want our fans to have a chance to enjoy the moment."

The Falcons return to action on Friday, October 26 when they head to Hartford to take on the Wolf Pack, followed by a Saturday night contest at Philadelphia against the Phantoms. Springfield remains in first-place in the Atlantic Division with a record of 5-2-0-1 through eight games.

Single game tickets for the 2007-08 regular season are on sale at the MassMutual Center Box Office and online at ticketmaster.com. MassMutual Center Box Office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Saturday 10am - 4 pm, or four hours prior to an event. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 413-787-6600.
