Four Players Assigned to ECHL Mississippi

NORFOLK - Today, Norfolk Admirals General Manager Claude Loiselle announced that defensemen Brett Angel and Jay Rosehill will join the Admirals from the Mississippi Sea Wolves (ECHL) while right wings Zbynek Hrdel and Marek Kvapil will head to Mississippi.

Rosehill, 6'4" and 215 pounds, appeared in three games for the Admirals going scoreless with 11 penalty minutes prior to being assigned to Mississippi last week. He appeared in two games for the Sea Wolves registering six penalty minutes.

Angel, 6'6" and 229 pounds, has not played yet this season for Norfolk or Mississippi. He was assigned to Mississippi last week and was unable to play as he served the final two games of an ECHL suspension from last season.

Hrdel, 6'1" and 199 pounds, appeared in Norfolk's first six games, netting a goal with a -1 rating. Kvapil, 5'10" and 188 pounds, also had appeared in Norfolk's first six games with two assists and a +1 rating.

The Admirals will battle the Philadelphia Phantoms on Friday night and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Saturday night at Scope. The puck drops for both contests at 7:15.
