Falcons Announce A Pair Of Giveaways This Weekend

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they will host "Ski-Cap Night" on Friday, February 22 when the Falcons host the Portland Pirates presented by STCU, followed by "Trading Card Set Night #2" on Saturday, February 23 when Springfield hosts the Providence Bruins presented by Tower Square and the United Way.

The first 1,000 kids will receive a free Falcons' ski-cap sponsored by New England Pathology on Friday night. Meanwhile, the first 1,500 fans will receive the second set of Falcons' trading cards on Saturday sponsored by Baystate Gas.

"We are always trying to find creative giveaways for our fans and this coming weekend we have back-to-back nights of special promotions for both kids and adults," said Falcons manager of game night operations and promotions Jason Gonet.

The Falcons also announced on Tuesday that eight players including: #3 T.J. Reynolds, #6 Mike Gabinet, #7 Brad Farynuk, #12 Jonas Almtorp, #13 Viacheslav Trukhno, #16 Stephane Goulet, #21 Sebastien Bisaillon, and #39 Jacob Micflikier will be at Tower Square in downtown Springfield on Wednesday, February 20 from 1-3 pm. The players will be working with the United Way in hosting a free "Hockey 101" clinic for kids.

Single game tickets for the 2007-08 regular season are on sale at the MassMutual Center Box Office and online at ticketmaster.com. MassMutual Center Box Office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Saturday 10am - 4 pm, or four hours prior to an event. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 413-787-6600.
