AHL announces suspension
February 19, 2008 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. . The American Hockey League today announced that Lake Erie Monsters defenseman Dale Purinton has been suspended for four (4) games as a result of his actions during an AHL game at Hamilton on Feb. 16.
Purinton was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline).
Purinton will miss Lake Erie's games on Friday (Feb. 22) at San Antonio, Sunday (Feb. 24) at San Antonio, Feb. 27 vs. Houston and Feb. 29 at Rockford.
