Reid Cashman Reassigned To Columbia

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Tuesday that defenceman Reid Cashman has been reassigned from the Marlies to the ECHL's Columbia Inferno.

Cashman has appeared in five games for the Marlies this season collecting two assists and two penalty minutes, along with a plus two rating. He has skated in 29 games for the Inferno this season posting 16 points (two goals, 14 assists).

Cashman was a standout at Quinnipiac University leading defenceman in scoring for all four of his years from 2003-07. He was signed by the Toronto Maple Leafs as an unrestricted free agent on March 21, 2007.

The Marlies finish their five-game road trip on Wednesday against the Binghamton Senators - AHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators - at Veterans Memorial Arena with puck drop scheduled for 7:05 p.m. EST. The Marlies will return home to Ricoh Coliseum on Saturday, February 23 to host Binghamton for a 4:00 p.m. match-up.
