San Jose Sharks Reassign Center Mike Iggulden To Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned center Mike Iggulden to the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League, San Jose's top development affiliate.

Iggulden made his NHL debut yesterday against the New York Islanders and did not register a point. He currently leads Worcester in points, goals and assists, having notched 43 points (18 goals, 25 assists) in 49 games. He is also tied for second on the team with six power play goals. He was Worcester's lone representative at the 2008 AHL All-Star Game where he played for the Canadian team.

The six-foot-three, 215-pound native of St. Catharines, Ontario, was signed as a free agent by San Jose on Jan. 16, 2006.
