CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Thirty-five former Cincinnati Mighty Ducks are currently playing in the National Hockey League. Here's a look at those players with seasons spent in the AHL with Cincinnati in parenthesis. All information as of February 2, 2004.

Chris Armstrong (2003-2004) has averaged 14:05 minutes of ice time in two games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim since being recalled January 29 from Cincinnati. He led AHL defensemen in scoring with 30 points on six goals and 24 assists in 44 games with Cincinnati at the time he was recalled.

Sean Avery (2000-2002) has developed into one of the NHL's top "shift-disturbers", recording a league-leading 187 penalty minutes in 47 games for the Los Angeles Kings. Avery has also contributed offensively for the Kings, chipping in five goals and 11 assists while averaging 10:52 minutes of ice time per game.

Aris Brimanis (2001-2002) has gone scoreless while averaging 13:04 minutes of ice time per game in nine contests with the St. Louis Blues. Brimanis, who served as the Ducks'captain during his lone season in Cincinnati in 2001-2002, has spent most of the season in the AHL with the Blues AHL affiliate in Worcester.

Garrett Burnett (2000-2001) has earned one assist with 81 penalty minutes in 22 games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in his first NHL season.

Marc Chouinard (1997-2001) has two goals and five assists while averaging 16:05 minutes of ice time in 22 games as the Minnesota Wild's fourth-line center and faceoff specialist.

Ivan Ciernik (1998-1999) has seen limited ice time this season with the Washington Capitals, posting one goal and one assist in seven games. Is averaging just 9:31 minutes of ice time per game.

Mike Commodore (2002-2003) made his season debut with Calgary February 1 and picked up seven penalty minutes in 13:45 minutes of action against the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Commodore, who had two goals and 11 assists with a team-leading 210 penalty minutes in 61 games with Cincinnati last season, has spent most of the current campaign in the AHL with the Hurricanes affiliate in Lowell.

Matt Cullen (1997-1999) has been a disappointment this season for the Florida Panthers, registering just three goals and five assists in 27 games. He still holds the Cincinnati franchise record for the longest consecutive game goal streak at eight games set during the 1997-1998 season.

Scott Ferguson (1998-2000) has developed into a reliable sixth defenseman for the Edmonton Oilers, where he has posted one goal and five assists with 75 penalty minutes in 47 games this season. Ferguson served as captain of the AHL Ducks during his second and final season with the club in 1999-2000.

Jiri Fischer (1999-2001) has one goal and 10 assists with 61 penalty minutes in 53 games as a top-four defenseman for the Detroit Red Wings.

Martin Gerber (2002-2003) has posted a 9-8-4 record with a 2.30 goals-against average and .914 save percentage in 25 games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere (2000-2001) has gone 7-21-4 with a 2.85 goals-against average and .905 save percentage in 33 games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. He earned the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2003 as the Most Valuable Player in the Stanley Cup playoffs after leading Anaheim to the finals where they lost to New Jersey in seven games.

Casey Hankinson (2003-2004) has gone scoreless in two games with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim after being called up January 30 from Cincinnati, where he had 10 goals and 18 assists with 49 penalty minutes and a plus-10 rating in 45 games.

Niclas Havelid (1999-2000) has recorded three goals and 15 assists with 14 penalty minutes in 50 games with Anaheim. Havelid is averaging 23:38 minutes of ice time per game, second-most among Anaheim blueliners. Three of his five goals have been game-winners.

Michael Holmqvist (2003-2004) has two goals in 19 games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. A first-round pick by Anaheim in 1997, the 24-year-old Swede had seven goals and seven assists in 22 games with Cincinnati earlier this season.

Jason Krog (2002-2003) has four goals and three assists while averaging 11:46 minutes of ice time for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.

Chris Kunitz (2003-2004) has recorded one assist in eight games with Anaheim. The Ferris State product led Cincinnati and AHL rookies in scoring with 31 points, including 15 goals, at the time he was called up to Anaheim in mid-January.

Maxim Kuznetsov (1999-2000 and 2001-2002) has one assist with 20 penalty minutes in 16 games with the Los Angeles Kings.

Joel Kwiatkowski (1998-2000) has developed into a dependable blueliner for the Washington Capitals, logging 20:55 minutes of ice time per game. He has six goals and four assists, including two power play goals, in 53 games this season.

Joffrey Lupul (2003-2004) has seven goals and 13 assists in 46 games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Lupul, a first-round pick by Anaheim in 2002, had three goals and two assists in three games with Cincinnati last month, including his first career hat trick with three goals January 4 vs. San Antonio.

Chris Mason (1997-1998) has posted a 2-3-1 record with a 2.40 goals-against average and .921 save percentage in 12 games for the Nashville Predators.

Andy McDonald (2000-2002) ranks fourth in scoring for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim with nine goals and 16 assists in 50 games. McDonald is averaging 17:24 minutes of ice time per game.

Brett McLean (1998-1999) has eight goals and 14 assists with 40 penalty minutes in 51 games with the Chicago Blackhawks. McLean's 22 points places him sixth among NHL rookies.

Shane Hnidy (1999-2000) has recorded four assists with 68 penalty minutes in 28 games with the Ottawa Senators.

Samuel Pahlsson (2002-2003) has one goal and 10 assists in 53 games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.

Richard Park (1997-1998) ranks fourth in scoring for the Minnesota Wild with 22 points on 11 goals and 11 assists with 14 penalty minutes and a plus-3 rating in 47 games. Park served as captain of the Wild in December.

Ruslan Salei (1997-1998) has three goals and six assists with 78 penalty minutes in 53 games with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. He leads Anaheim defensemen with an average of 23:53 minutes of ice time per game.

Cam Severson (2000-2001 & 2002-2004) has gone scoreless with 15 penalty minutes in seven games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. The rugged winger had seven goals and five assists with a team-leading 141 penalty minutes in 36 games with Cincinnati this season before he was summoned to Anaheim in January.

Jeremy Stevenson (1997-1999) has two goals and two assists with 51 penalty minutes and a plus-4 rating in 32 games with the Nashville Predators.

Pavel Trnka (1997-1998) has three goals and 10 assists with 35 penalty minutes in 44 games with the Florida Panthers this season. Trnka is averaging 17:35 minutes per game under the auspices of Cincinnati Hockey Hall of Famer and Florida head coach, Rick Dudley.

Vitaly Vishnevski (1999-2000) has a career-high three goals and seven assists with 35 penalty minutes in 46 games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Vishnevski is averaging 16:40 minutes of ice time per game.

Lance Ward (2003-2004) has picked up one assist with 43 penalty minutes in 23 games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. He had one assist in five games with Cincinnati during a conditioning stint in January.

Jason Williams (2000-2002) has two goals and two assists in 36 games with the Detroit Red Wings. The versatile forward is averaging 8:59 seconds of ice time per game.

Jason York (2002-2003) has two goals and nine assists with 54 penalty minutes in 51 games with the Nashville Predators. His 21:26 minutes of ice time per game ranks second-most among Nashville blueliners.

Dwayne Zinger (1999-2002) has recorded one assist with nine penalty minutes and a plus-2 rating in seven games with the Washington Capitals in his first career NHL action. Zinger has spent most of the season in the AHL with the Capitals' AHL affiliate in Portland.
