--The Wolves matched a season-high with four goals in the first period to
defeat the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, 5-3, at the Cincinnati Gardens
--Center BRENDAN YAREMA registered the first two goals of the game in the
first three minutes of play, which includes a goal just 30 seconds into the
game
--Right wing STEPHEN BABY recorded two points (G, A), including the
power-play game-winner at 19:59 of the first period
--Left wings ERIC HEALEY and STEVE MALTAIS also scored for Chicago
--Goaltender MICHAEL GARNETT notched 33 saves in the win

--The Wolves' power play produced three goals, matching a season-high and
propelling Chicago to a 4-2 win against the San Antonio Rampage at the SBC
Center

BRENDAN YAREMA: Matched a season-high two goals on Saturday ... Registered seven points (5G, 2A) in his last five games, which includes a season-high three (2G, A) on Jan. 18 against Houston ... Ranks fourth on the team with 11 goals and eighth on the club with 21 points in 32 games
ERIC HEALEY: Registered three points (2G, A) last week, which includes matching a season-high two (G, A) on Saturday ... Posted a season-most 15 penalty minutes last Friday ... Paces the Wolves with 19 goals and ranks second with 34 points in 48 games ... Leads the league with a .257 shooting percentage (19 goals on 74 shots)
KAMIL PIROS: Tallied three points (G, 2A) in his first two games since being reassigned by the Atlanta Thrashers on Jan. 29 ... Currently on a three-game point streak (Jan. 18 - present) ... Posted eight goals, 14 assists and 22 points in 34 games with Chicago
STEVE MALTAIS: Recorded seven points (6G, A) in his last five games, which includes five (4G, A) during his current three-game point streak (Jan. 24 - present) ... Shares fourth in the league with a team-leading nine power-play goals ... Paces the team with 37 points and shares third on the club with 19 assists
KARL STEWART: Ranks third among AHL rookies with a team-leading 22 assists, which includes matching a season-high two on Saturday ... Ranks fourth on the team and eighth among AHL first-year pros with 27 points ... Leads league rookies and shares second in the league with a +18 plus/minus rating in 41 games
WOLF TRACKS
--The Wolves are currently on a season-high six-game winning streak; overall, Chicago finished the month of January with a 10-2-1-1 record (.786), the best January mark in franchise history.
--At the end of January, Chicago is 11 games above .500 (25-14-6-3), posting its best mark at this point of the season since notching a 30-11-7 record in 1998-99 to stand 19 games above .500.
--The Wolves have lost just two games in regulation since Christmas, posting a 12-2-3-1 record since Dec. 25.
--The Wolves have tallied at least one power-play goal in each of their last three games, posting six during that span; overall, Chicago leads the AHL with 44 power-play markers this season, which includes 15 in its last nine games.
NOW THAT'S OFFENSIVE
The Wolves have notched 68 goals in 18 games since Christmas, averaging 3.78 goals per contest since Dec. 25; overall, Chicago ranks second in the AHL, averaging 3.00 goals per game.
