
Express to Host Military Supply Drive June 30 - July 3

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express are hosting a military supply drive during their four-game series against the Iowa Cubs Thursday, June 30 - Sunday, July 3 to benefit 3rd Cavalry Regiment. The Fort Hood-based regiment just began a nine-month deployment to Afghanistan.
The list of items needed includes 100 calorie snack packs, antacids, beef jerky, calling cards, chapstick, coffee, condiment packets (ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, relish, salad dressing, etc.), decks of cards, deodorant, eye drops, feminine care products, foot powder, hard candy (no chocolate), magazines, nail clippers, razors, shampoo, shaving cream, socks, sport drink powder packets, throat lozenges, trail mix and wet wipes. Additionally, the Express are collecting unsealed personal letters from kids and Patriots, writing utensils, cards/stationary and American and Texas flags.
All fans who donate items will receive a voucher for two complimentary tickets to a future Sunday - Thursday Express home game. Donations will be accepted at the Home Plate Gate only. Please note that capacity crowd is expected for Sunday, July 3 and that the voucher will not be redeemable for that game.
