Express can't break through against Baek, Missions

Round Rock Express News Release
Since moving into the rotation, Greg Powell has developed into a dependable starter for the Round Rock Express. Wednesday night in San Antonio was no different, although Cha Sueng Baek did him one better.
Baek allowed only two hits over 7.1 innings and Justin Leone hit two home runs to lift the San Antonio Missions to a 5-0 win.
The 5,337 at Wolff Municipal Stadium saw both starters roll through their respective opponents. Powell allowed only one run through his first five innings before Leone doubled that lead with a solo home run in the sixth. He homered again in the eighth to close out the scoring.
That was all Baek would need. Making his second start in San Antonio, Baek allowed only three base runners while striking out nine. Jared Hoerman worked the final 1.2 innings for his 31st save.
The four game series continues Thursday night at 7:05 p.m.
