Sox Fall 7-3 to Redbirds

The Sky Sox lost their 3rd straight game Monday night, 7-3 to the Memphis Redbirds. Sox starter Scott Elarton (1-6) pitched 6 innings giving up 5 hits and 5 runs, striking out 7 and walking 4. Pablo Ozuna led the Sox offense going 2-3 with a double, triple, stolen base, and an RBI. Kit Pellow continued his hot hitting, blasting his 12th home run of the season. The Sox and Redbirds will square off again tonight in Memphis with the Sox sending Randy Flores (7-5, 4.10) to the bump against the Redbirds Jeremy Cummings (1-1, 6.75).
