Sox lose 4th in a row

Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release


The Colorado Springs Sky Sox dropped their 4th straight game on Tuesday night in Memphis to the Redbirds 8-2. Sox starter Randy Flores went 5 innings and got tagged for 6 runs (3 of them were earned) leading to the loss. The offense managed 1 extra base hit a double by Luke Allen in the 9th who finished with 2 hits on the evening. Kit Pellow and Garrett Atkins finished with 2 hits as well but it wasn't enough to catch the Redbirds 8 runs, which were paced by their 3 home runs on the evening. The Sox and Redbirds go at it again Wednesday evening at AutoZone Park when Chris Michalak (7-8, 4.49) takes the hill for the Sox against Josh Pearce (1-2, 6.75) of Memphis.
