The Norfolk Tides have several outstanding promotions lined up for thier final homestand of the 2007 season. Hat Night, a special comic book, and Fan Appreciation Night should make the final homestand of the year one to remember. As always, tickets are available for purchase at the Harbor Park box office, ticketmaster outlets, or online at norfolktides.com.
Monday, August 27 - Tides vs. Durham Bulls 6:15 pm (doubleheader)
* Hat Night. The first 5,000 fans to enter Harbor Park will get a FREE Tides cap courtesy of Peter Pan, Farm Fresh and News Channel 3
Tuesday, August 28 - Tides vs. Durham Bulls 7:15 pm
* Baltimore Orioles replica Jersey giveaway night. 20 lucky fans will win a replica Orioles jersey of Miguel Tejada, Brian Roberts, Jay Payton, Erik Bedard or Melvin Mora courtesy of Coca-Cola and WSKY-4 TV
- Hardee's coupons. The first 3,000 fans will get a valuable coupon from Hardee's
Wednesday, August 29 - Tides vs. Charlotte Knights 7:15 pm
- Marvel Comics "Triple-A Baseball Heros" Comic Book giveaway to the first 5,000 fans to enter Harbor Park, sponsored by the Virginian Pilot
- Virginian Pilot Joy Fund Night. Proceeds to ticket sales will be donated to the Joy Fund.
- Special Appearance by Spider Man, presented by the Virginian Pilot.
* Duke's / Farm Fresh Family Night. Bring in a Duke's label and a receipt from Farm Fresh and get a free reserved seat ticket to that day's game
* Stihl Hometown Hero Presentation
- Cox Communications presents "Hello from Harbor Park". Cox 11 will videotape greetings from military families in Hampton Roads and deliver the message to their loved ones overseas. Cox 11 will videotape messages on a first come, first served basis. Each family that records a message will receive (4) free Tides tickets to a 2008 Tides home game so they can enjoy a game with their loved one when they return.
