ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades finished off their busiest week of the season with a 2-1-0 record. The Everblades head into this week's action with a record of 4-3-0 (8pts, T-2nd South Div.). THIS WEEK (All Times Eastern)

Monday, November 6 @ Cincinnati Cyclones 7:35 p.m.

GAME NOTES: The Everblades close out their four-game road trip on Monday night at Cincinnati. The 'Blades return to U.S. Bank Arena where they opened their first road trip of the season with a 4-3 win last Wednesday. The Cyclones enter this week's action with a record of 4-3-0 (8 pts., T-2nd, North Div.). The Everblades hold an all-time record of 1-0-0 vs. Cincinnati.

Friday & Saturday, November 10 & 11 vs. Columbia Inferno (Both Games) 7:30 p.m.

GAME NOTES: The Everblades return home this weekend to host the Columbia Inferno for the first time this season. The games will be the first two of nine between the South Division rivals and the first two of five at Germain Arena. Last season the Everblades were 6-1-1 vs. Columbia. The Inferno enter this week's action with a record of 2-3-3 (7 pts., T-5th, South Div.). The Everblades hold an all-time record of 18-11-6 vs. Columbia and are 10-3-4 all-time at home vs. the Inferno.

LAST WEEK'S RESULTS

Wednesday, November 1 at Cincinnati 4-3 W

The Everblades opened their four-game road trip with a 4-3 win over Cincinnati. The game was the first ever meeting between the teams and the Everblades used a pair of goals by Jon Lehun including the game-winner with 1:59 remaining in regulation. Mike Angelidis and Chris Lee scored the other goals for the Everblades. David Shantz started in goal for the Everblades and picked up the win by stopping 28 of 31 shots. Florida Special Teams: PP: 1-for-11; PK: 5-for-6.

Friday, November 4 at Toledo 4-1 W

The Everblades won their second straight with an impressive 4-1 win at Toledo on Friday night. Rookie Derek Damon scored his first professional goal with a late first period goal, and the 'Blades exploded for three third period goals, including two by Reggie Berg, and on by Mike Angelidis. In goal Craig Kowalski earned his first win of the season by turning away 36 of 37 Toledo shots. Florida special teams: PP: 1-for-7, PK: 11-for-11.

Saturday, November 5 at Dayton 4-2 L

The Everblades suffered their first loss on the road trip in the home opener for the Dayton Bombers. Dayton opened the game with three first period goals in the first 10 minutes. The Bombers opened a 4-0 lead before Brent McDonald got the Everblades on the scoreboard with one second remaining in the second period. Vince Bellissimo tallied a third period goal for the Everblades. In goal David Shantz suffered his first loss of the season allowing the four goals on 33 shots. Florida special teams: PP: 1-for-7, PK: 5-for-6.

Player of the Week Nominee: This week's Everblades nominee for ECHL player of the week is Jonathan Lehun who tallied two goals and two assists in Florida's three games this past week. The Everblades Goaltender of the Week nominee is Craig Kowalski who earned his first win of the season by stopping 36 of 37 Toledo shots on Friday night.

MY TV 8!: The second of six Everblades TV broadcasts will air on Saturday, November 11 when the Everblades host the Columbia Inferno. Game time is 7:35 p.m. and fans can watch all the action on MY TV 8! Kevin Reiter and Ken Schinkel will call all the action!

Coach's Show!: The Everblades Coach's Show "Blades Talk" returns on Monday, November 13, live from Stevie Tomato's Sports Page in Ft. Myers from 7-8 p.m. The show which feature Everblades head coach Gerry Fleming and an Everblades player along with the voice of the Everblades Kevin Reiter.
