The Somerset Patriots defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats by a score of 17-9 at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, New Jersey on Tuesday night.

The Patriots led three separate times in the game, which was highlighted by an eight-run eighth inning for Somerset.

Somerset's 17 runs were the most scored in a game by the team since becoming the Yankees' Double-A affiliate in 2021.

The three home runs by the Patriots in the game marked their third three-home run game out of 10 total games on the season. Somerset ends the night tied for the Eastern League lead in home runs (14) with Hartford.

Every player in Somerset's starting lineup recorded a hit in the game, with the exception of Jeisson Rosario, who drew a game-high four walks.

Every player in Somerset's starting lineup scored a run in the game, with the exception of Josh Donaldson, who was lifted from the game in the fifth inning.

Six different Patriots combined for 16 RBIs in the game, including a game-high four for Max Burt and T.J. Rumfield.

3B Josh Donaldson (1-for-3) started the game at third base on a rehab assignment for the New York Yankees (right hamstring strain), hitting an infield single in his final at-bat in the fifth inning. He was then removed for a pinch-runner.

SS Trey Sweeney (3-for-5, 2 RBI, R) recorded his second three-hit game of the season, the most by any member of the Patriots in 2023.

LF Jasson Dominguez (1-for-4, 3 RBI, R, HR) recorded his first home run of the season on a two-run shot with two outs in the seventh inning, tying the score of the game at 7-7, after the Patriots trailed by as much as a 7-3 deficit.

C Anthony Seigler (1-for-3, 2 RBI, 2 R, 2 BB) extended his team-best hit streak to six games with a two-run single in the seventh inning that gave the Patriots their second of three leads in the game (9-7).

1B T.J. Rumfield (2-for-4, 4 RBI, 2 R, HR, BB) matched his career-high mark of 4 RBIs with an eighth inning grand slam that marked his first Double-A home run.

2B Max Burt (3-for-4, 4 RBI, 4 R, HR, 2B) gave the Patriots their initial lead with a three-run home run in the third inning (3-1).

Burt's four runs scored on the night set a new career-high, while he pieced together his second 4+ RBI game of the season.

Burt ends the night as the Eastern League leader in RBI (12), while tying for fourth in the league in runs (8) and ranking fourth in total bases (22).

Across seven games to start the season, Burt is 11-for-21 (.524 BA) with a 1.625 OPS.
