Eriksson and Cote Assigned to St. John's

The St. John's Maple Leafs announced today that defenceman Anders Eriksson and left-winger Riley Cote have been assigned to St. John's. Eriksson has been on recall with the Toronto Maple Leafs since February 8. Anders Eriksson is pointless in four games with Toronto this season while he leads St. John's with 26 assists in 49 games.

Left-winger Riley Cote has been recalled to St. John's from Greensboro of the East Coast Hockey League. Cote has 17 points (6G,11A) and leads the Generals with 163 penalty minutes in 39 games this season. Cote has played five games for St. John's this season.

The Maple Leafs kick off a seven game road trip tonight when they visit the Syracuse Crunch. Game time is 8:30PM (NT) and will be broadcast LIVE on Radio NF (930AM) and www.sjmapleleafs.ca. The team returns to Mile One Stadium Friday, February 28th to face the Providence Bruins.
