EVENT: Phantoms to host Philadelphia Sports and Entertainment Seminar
WHEN: Monday, March 17 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (8:00 a.m. check-in)
PLACE: First Union Center 3601 S. Broad Street Philadelphia, PA
DETAILS: The Philadelphia Phantoms and Comcast-Spectacor will be hosting the first-ever Philadelphia Sports and Entertainment Seminar at the First Union Center on Monday, March 17. This event is geared towards high school and college students who are interested in the sports and entertainment industry.
The event begins with check-in at the Broad Street Atrium of the First Union Center at 8:00 a.m. Students will then have the opportunity to attend eight sessions between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The following departments will be presenting: Ticket Sales and Corporate Sales, Marketing, Fan Development/Community Relations, Public Relations, Broadcasting, Building Operations, Human Resources, and Game Operations. Representatives from the Philadelphia Phantoms, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia 76ers or Comcast-Spectacor will host the presentations. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions. In-between each session, as the students are being escorted to the next session, the tour leaders will speak of the different building areas and amenities of the First Union Center.
The package is $25 per person, and includes: entry into the Sports and Entertainment seminar, two tickets to the Phantoms game on Wednesday, March 19, lunch, and a goodie bag. This is an opportunity that high school and college students don't want to miss! Call 215-465-4522 to register now.
