Tonight, the Erie SeaWolves go for back-to-back wins against the Reading Fightin Phils at UPMC Park. Last night, the Erie offense pounded out 16 hits and Derek Hill slugged his 14th home run of the season to aid Erie in a 10-5 series opening victory. Anthony Castro takes the mound tonight for the SeaWolves and is making his first start since August 1 when he shut out Binghamton for seven innings. As a starter this season, Castro is 5-1 with a 2.73 ERA in 14 starts (66.0 IP). As a reliever, in nine appearances, he owns a 10.69 ERA in 16.0 IP with 18 walks. The right-hander is making his second start against the Phils after going a scoreless inning in a suspended game on May 30. Connor Seabold goes for Reading and has not allowed more than two earned runs in three Double-A starts this season. His last time out on August 7 versus Hartford, the right-hander tossed six innings and surrendered three runs (two earned) on five hits. He was third-round selection by Philadelphia in 2017.
