ENTERING TODAY'S ACTION...
Today, the SeaWolves take the field in the rubber game of a three-game set at Jerry Uht Park against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays). Today is the last regular season meeting between the two clubs. Erie holds a one-game advantage in the season series and can win the season series for the first time since 2005 with a win today...The 'Wolves have won three of their last four games and are 6-4 in their last 10...The Fisher Cats are 1-4 on their current six-game road trip and have dropped eight of their last 10 games...Today marks Erie's last home game until June 27. The club will embark on an 11-day, 10 game road trip to Binghamton, Harrisburg and Trenton on Monday. It is Erie's longest road trip since 2005 when they played 10-straight away from "The Uht" June 17-26 with trips to Portland, New Hampshire and Binghamton...Lefty Danny Christensen has been one of the most consistent starters for the 'Wolves over the last three weeks and he takes the mound today in the series finale. Christensen took a no-decision in his last outing against Portland tossing eight innings (season-high) allowing a run on three hits with two walks and eight strikeouts (season high). Christensen is 1-2 with a 3.45 ERA in five home starts...RHP Brandon Magee takes the mound for the Fisher Cats, making his 14th start of the season. Magee took a no-decision in his last outing against Akron. In the game, he went six innings, allowing a run on seven hits with four walks and no strikeouts.
