Erie, PA- Ryan Patterson and Jacob Butler hit solo home runs in the top of the eighth inning and Ryan Klosterman (2-for-4, HR, 2 RBI) added a two-run shot in the top of the ninth inning, but the Fisher Cats fell short in a comeback bid Sunday, losing 8-6 at Erie.
After Klosterman's home run, Chris Gutierrez tripled to bring the tying run to the plate, but Aaron Mathews and Patterson hit flies to right field to end the game.

The Fisher Cats (24-44) started the game with consecutive doubles by Gutierrez (2-for-4) and Mathews (2-for-5) to take a 1-0 lead. Patterson (2-for-5, HR, RBI) then singled and Mathews scored when the ball was misplayed in right field to make it 2-0.
Erie tied the game in the last of the first inning against Brandon Magee (0-9). Will Rhymes and Danny Worth walked and Deik Scram singled to load the bases. Ryan Roberson (3-for-4, 3 RBI) singled home two runs to tie the game at 2-2.
