----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look for back-to-back wins as they take on the New Britain Rock Cats (Minnesota Twins) in the middle game of a three-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the 'Wolves plated nine runs and took down the Rock Cats by holding off a late charge 9-7. The win puts the SeaWolves at a game under .500 entering play today...The Rock Cats have dropped six consecutive games and are in a second place tie with Reading in the Eastern Division...The Rock Cats last won in Erie on August 6, 2009. Erie has won nine of the last 10 against the Cats at home including back-to-back sweeps in 2010 and 2011...Lefty Kelvin De La Cruz makes his 13th appearance, 11th start and first appearance against the Rock Cats. De La Cruz earned a win in his last start and it was his first win since May 13. In the game, he allowed a run on seven hits with two walks and five strikeouts in a season-high seven innings of work. Erie won the game 5-1...Lefty Andrew Albers takes the mound for New Britain making his 13th appearance and 11th start. Albers pitched in relief in his last outing on June 5 at Akron, allowing a pair of runs with three walks and a strikeout in 1.2 innings pitched. Albers won his last start on May 31 at New Hampshire allowing a run on five hits with no walks and a strikeout in six innings...The SeaWolves have one game remaining on the homestand before heading to Harrisburg on Tuesday.
