Tonight, the SeaWolves look to bounce back after a tough night last night as they take on the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) in the third game of a four-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the Senators banged out 14 runs on 18 hits as they routed the SeaWolves 14-1... Righty Tommy Collier takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 24th start of the season, 17th with the SeaWolves and second against the Senators. He took a no-decision on July 13 against Harrisburg allowing a run on three hits with a walk and six strikeouts in five innings. Collier took a loss in his last start at Binghamton on August 24. In the game, he allowed a season-high nine runs on 10 hits with three walks and four strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Eight on the nine runs scored with two outs. Erie lost the game 10-1... RHP John Simms takes the mound for the Senators making his making his seventh start and second against Erie. Simms took a no-decision against the 'Wolves on August 7 allowing three runs on seven hits with two walks and three strikeouts in 6.1 innings. Simms took a no-decision in his last start against Richmond on August 24. In the game, he tossed six shutout innings, allowing five hits with a walk and nine strikeouts. Simms began the season in Class-A Potomac where he posted a 6-6 record with a 2.74 ERA.
