LAST GAME: Jared King hit a sac fly to center in the bottom of the 11th to send the B-Mets to a 1-0 walk-off win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Friday night. Matt Koch and three B-Met relievers combined for 11 blank innings in Binghamton's 13th shutout victory of the season. Jeff Walters earned his first win of the season.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Rainy Lara takes the ball for his 18th start of the season with Binghamton and 23rd game between Double-A and Triple-A. The righty allowed one run over six innings in a victory in his latest start against the Erie SeaWolves on Monday. Lara took a no-decision in his only start against New Hampshire this season, allowing one run over six innings on April 23.

NEW HAMPSHIRE STARTER: RHP Conner Greene makes his fourth career start at Double-A and his 24th start this season. After opening the season in Low-A with Lansing, he enjoyed seven games with Dunedin (High-A) before joining the Fisher Cats on August 13. He allowed four runs over 5.1 innings and received eight runs of support to earn the win in his last start against the Sea Dogs on Monday.

EL ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: The Eastern League announced Gavin Cecchini as the 2015 Rookie of the Year on Friday. In his first full season, the Louisiana native has hit .317 over 109 games and compiled 38 multiple-hit games. He is the third B-Met to receive the honor joining Bobby Jones (1992) & Paul Wilson (1995).

POSTSEASON ALL-STARS: Shortstop Gavin Cecchini, utility fielder Josh Rodriguez and starting pitcher Michael Fulmer were all recognized as Eastern League Postseason All-Stars on Friday. Binghamton's trio matches a franchise record for highest number of members of a postseason All-Star team.

TWICE AS NICE: Rodriguez was named as the utility fielder to the EL Postseason All-Star Team. It marks the second time in his 10-year career he's earned a year-end award. The Houston, Texan made the Carolina League Postseason All-Star Team as a member of the Kinston Indians in 2007.

OH, OH IT'S MAGIC: Binghamton's victory last night, coupled with Trenton's loss in Altoona dropped the B-Mets magic number to clinch a postseason berth down to seven. The B-Mets have never been to the playoffs in three straight seasons.

WALK IT OFF: Binghamton's walk-off victory last night was their seventh of the season and first since Michael Conforto delivered a game-winning single against the Rock Cats on June 14.

WELCOME BACK: B-Met reliever Jeff Walters tossed a scoreless 11th inning and earned his first win of the year with Binghamton on Friday. It was his first victory in a B-Mets jersey since June 22, 2013.

ONE MORE TIME: The Mets announced that Major League rehabber Steven Matz will make another start with the B-Mets. The southpaw is slated to throw 80 pitches on Monday night against Reading.

CHASING THAT NUMBER ONE SPOT: The B-Mets trail the first-place Fightin Phils by four games in the Eastern Division. The teams meet for a four-game series starting Monday night in Reading.

SEASON BEST: TJ Rivera extended his hitting streak to a season-best eight games with a first-inning single on Friday night. The Bronx native has gone 12-for-30 during the stretch. He's collected a hit in his first at-bat five times during the streak.

NEXT GAME PREVIEW: The B-Mets conclude their four-game set and season series against the Fisher Cats on Sunday afternoon at 1:05 PM. RHP Robert Gsellman returns from the disabled list to face RHP Casey Lawrence.
